How much do jumps cost for a new skydiver?
$240 for the static line first jump class. After the first jump you can make subsequent jumps for $52-$60 each.
When is the dropzone open?
IVPC is usually open on Saturdays and Sundays when the weather is clear. On occasion, The DZ is open on Tuesday and Thursdays 5PM until sunset. It is always recommended that you check our Facebook page.
What do I do if there is rain on the training day I’m signed-up to attend?
Training is conducted rain or shine. Please be there by 8AM and be ready to learn. Although uncooperative weather may prevent the jump that day, your training will be conducted and you may return on any subsequent weekend to jump.
Is There a maximum weight for jumpers?
Yes. 225 pounds.
Is there anything I should or should not bring?
Absolutely. Family and friends are welcome – we recommend they arrive around 11:30 after you have conducted training. Please do not bring pets. Keep in mind that IVPC is an active airport with aircraft taking off and landing all day.
Can I come out and watch on non-student days?
What about food?
IVPC has a refrigerator stocked with water and soda available for $.50. There are some local restaurants within a 3 mile drive but you may find it convenient to bring something to eat.
